JAPAN BLOG - Day 7 - The All Japan Show 2010

 Well the show opened to the public today, which was very well attended, with many visitors from Europe and America. 

The weather is unreal with snow and winds over 60mph easily, making the windchill way below zero.

JAPAN BLOG - Day 5 - Omosako Koi Farm

Good time had at OmosakoOmosako koi farm, Kure-shi, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan today with tosaiA koi 0-11 months old, has completed one summer growth period and nisaiA koi 12-23 months old, has completed two summer growth periods purchased by our customers, we have secured some top tosaiA koi 0-11 months old, has completed one summer growth period for April, something to look forward to. The Shiro UtsuriA black & white koi above was purchased by a client in the autumn and is coming along very nicely. This was the KashiraThe number 1 koi of the year from the breeder, and/or number 1 of a particular spawning of the 2008 ZebraZebra, Omosako parent koi spawning and was sourced during our autumn harvest trip.

JAPAN BLOG - Day 3 / 4 - Momotaro / Matsue / Taniguchi / Tamaura

 Having a hectic schedule this trip we have had to travel around a lot, not giving me much time to keep updates coming. On Tuesday 2nd we attended the auction at MomotaroMomotaro koi farm, Mitsu-kunigahara, Okayama, Japan which attracted a big turn out, mainly nisaiA koi 12-23 months old, has completed two summer growth periods koi and male tosaiA koi 0-11 months old, has completed one summer growth period along with sets of tosaiA koi 0-11 months old, has completed one summer growth period for auction.

We then moved on to MatsueMatsue koi farm, Yatsuka Higashiizumo, Shimane, Japan in the afternoon, which was good and customers brought nisaiA koi 12-23 months old, has completed two summer growth periods KohakuA red & white koi.

Then a long drive home to finish off a hectic day.

Today (Wednesday) was back to TaniguchiTaniguchi koi farm, Hukuyama-shi, Hiroshima, Japan Koi Farm for us to select more tosaiA koi 0-11 months old, has completed one summer growth period and nisaiA koi 12-23 months old, has completed two summer growth periods, two serious tosaiA koi 0-11 months old, has completed one summer growth period were purchased and nisaiA koi 12-23 months old, has completed two summer growth periods and I managed to re photograph some koi and customers koi.

Tomorrow we will be visiting OmosakoOmosako koi farm, Kure-shi, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan Koi Farm for the day then heading back to Okayama, as in the morning we catch the shinkansen to Niigata City for the weekend and the ALL JAPAN SHOW at Toki Masse.
